The original idea
The people who built topph were ordinary fans — the kind who track PBA standings on their phone during commutes, who gather around a screen for a big boxing night, and who have been playing Pusoy with family since childhood. They used international platforms and kept running into the same problems: unfamiliar interfaces, awkward currency displays, slow local payment support, and no sign that the platform actually knew anything about Philippine sports culture.
That gap was the starting point. topph was designed to be the platform those people actually wanted to use — one that treats Philippine players as the primary audience, not an afterthought. The sports, the payment options, the language, the interface layout — each decision started with a Filipino user in mind.
